Welcome!

Whenever I go to a conference, the most dreaded part for me are the Ice Breakers. Not that I'm shy or antisocial; it's just that I don't feel the need to know how someone takes their coffee after knowing them for 30 seconds and will probably never see again. That's why I was debating writing this post. Is it really necessary? Does it prove that I'm a new blogger and have no idea what the etiquette is?

I guess I feel the need to explain why I'm jumping on the nail blog bandwagon. Does the world really need one more? There are soo many great ones already out there -  that's how I obtained my new found love for lacquers.

You see, I always hated nail polish growing up - every time I attempted to paint my nails it looked streaky, sloppy and half the time I smudged then. So I gave up. Until the Stumble Button lead me to my first nail blog. Then my life changed. I learned about quick dry top coat, how to properly coat and where to buy at wholesale prices. I went from owning 2 nail polished to about 100 in the course of the last 6 months. Easily addicted much?

My goal for starting this blog is to sort through my collection. I keep adding to it, and yet, have polishes I haven't even tried out yet. I'd like to keep a running gallery of my manis so I can have a visual of what I own, to help others choose their new lacquers and (of course) to help my friends decide which polish they are going to borrow from me this week.

So, welcome and enjoy!
